What a farther zone does
In +1 Stone Skipping, a longer throw can take you to a farther zone and earn more Wins. Aim for the next zone you can reach more than once. Another player’s huge Skill number tells you little about your own route. Your bounces build Skill, training and levels help you throw farther, and the zone you reach determines your chance at a better Wins reward.
Keep an eye on your results. The game shows distance in meters as the stone travels along the water lane, and the bottom HUD shows Wins. After a throw, note the zone or location label and how much your Wins changed. Use those numbers as the baseline for your server and whatever boosts you have active.
Follow the lane, not a fixed threshold chart
The water lane passes through increasingly distant areas. A zone guide from September 2026 listed Palm Beach, Cactus Desert, Autumn Woods, Mushroom Marsh, and Frost Lake in that order. A later session also showed Candy Banks farther out. Treat the list as a way to recognize signs, then check the map in your own server. The route can change.
| When you see this | Useful next action |
|---|---|
| A familiar nearby zone | Record your usual distance and Wins result. |
| A farther zone sign ahead | Train or equip one improvement, then retry the throw. |
| A new zone reached once | Repeat a few throws to see whether the new reach is reliable. |
| A different zone name than a guide lists | Follow the live sign and compare the result in your server. |
A distance in somebody else’s screenshot is not an unlock requirement. Their stone, pets, and boosts affect the throw, so the number cannot stand in for a threshold on your account. The official game description gives no meter or Skill table for individual zones.
Move to the next zone deliberately
Make several throws with your current stone and note where they usually land. Follow the training or level prompt until the bar moves, then throw again with the same stone. If your range improves, keep training until the next zone becomes repeatable. If it does not, check your equipped stone, pet, and available Skill pad before assuming that the zone is out of reach for some hidden reason.
Change one thing for each comparison. A new pet, a timed boost, and a new stone might produce a longer throw together, but you will not know which one helped. The boost might also end before your next test. Check the boost chips and Friend Boost reading on the HUD when you compare throws.
Once you earn more Wins in a new zone, choose what to buy with them. Better stones and pets can help with later throws. Egg stands and Shop offers are visible in the game; read their current prices and effects on the cards before buying. Compare the next affordable option with what you already have. Reaching farther is most useful when those Wins help you make the next jump.
How rebirth affects your route
Rebirth can help you grow stronger and beat your longest throw, but it changes your starting point. The Rebirth panel warns that Level and Skill reset. Your first throw afterward is therefore a poor comparison with your strongest throw before the reset. Read the current requirement and multiplier, confirm the reset, and train again before judging whether farther zones have become easier.
Some Skill pads have rebirth locks. The Shop has also shown separate premium Skill zones. Check the signs before comparing them with the landing zones along the water lane: a pad changes Skill gain, while a farther landing zone is tied to Wins.
FAQ
Why should I reach farther zones?
Farther zones award more Wins. They also give you a clear distance goal for training and equipment choices.
What is the exact unlock distance for each zone?
The official game description does not provide a threshold table. Read the signs and compare your result in the current server.
Is Frost Lake still the final zone?
Do not assume that it is. The September zone list ends at Frost Lake, but later gameplay shows another distant label. Follow the map that is live in your game.
Does a Skill pad count as a zone?
It is a different kind of area. A Skill pad affects training gains; the farther zones along the water lane are linked to Wins rewards.
Why did I reach a new zone only once?
A timed boost or a particularly long throw can get you there once. Make several throws with the same setup to learn the distance you can reach regularly.
